ATK Integrated Weapon Systems (IWS) is a leading producer of medium-caliber gun systems for ground, sea, air platforms, a complete family of medium-caliber training and tactical ammunition that meets today's requirements and serves as the cornerstone for tomorrow's Future Combat Systems. ATK also develops Fire Control Electronics, Sensor Packages, and Servo Controls. This includes both hardware and software for these embedded system components.

ATK's Mesa location is looking for an experienced Financial Analyst to support a group of programs within our Ammunition business segment.
The primary duties for this position include:
Preparation and full variance analysis on a monthly and quarterly basis for programs
EAC (estimate at complete) preparation and analysis of programs quarterly
Establishing program budgets for new awards
Monthly & Annual planning, forecasting, and variance analysis of revenues and incurred costs for program family (Orders, Sales, Profit, Cash Flow)
Partnering with program manager as integral member of the product family team
Cost Control reporting
Frequent communication with intercompany suppliers and management of spend plans
Tracking material usage by project and performing transfers as needed
Unbilled analysis, backlog review, other misc. tasks
Ad hoc analysis and reporting as required
Education: Bachelor's in Finance or Accounting is required.
Position may be filled at a lower level depending on candidate's experience and education.

| Required Skills: |
Three to five years work experience as a financial analyst is required.
Microsoft Office - Excel skills must be intermediate level or higher; strong PowerPoint skills \
Previous work as a finance analyst within government contracting (familiarity with CAS & government terminology) is preferred.
Applicant must have excellent written and verbal communication skills that enable them to work with other functional organizations to gather and provide analysis for their program segment.
Must have strong analytical skills in a complex project accounting environment.
Excellent interpersonal, analytical, problem solving, and time management skills
Must be an agile learner and able to grasp business processes and concepts easily and quickly
Position is posted as a level III, which requires the skills normally acquired with a Bachelor's degree and 6 years of experience. However, position may also be filled as a level II, which requires the skills normally acquired with a Bachelor's degree and 3 years of experience.
