ROLE of the POSITION The Technology Support Specialist has a variety of roles in IT services and projects. As part of the Client Services Team, the Specialist provides project leadership, knowledge management, and communications; The Specialist will assist the Client Services Manager with planning, coordination, design, testing and delivery of OIT support services and tools, as well as preparing the help desk and campus for new service delivery. The Specialist engages with different working groups to assess, plan, and implement new or changed services. The Specialist is also a member of a second/third level support team responsible for providing resolutions to complex problems and inquiries that require expertise, time, and research. These resolutions involve both hardware and software issues that arise from assisting users in using technology or providing technical resolutions. |
