WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – July 19, 2011 – Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center has been named among America’s top hospitals by U.S. News & World Report and has also been recognized as the #1 medical center in the Triad.
Wake Forest Baptist is nationally ranked in 4 specialties: nephrology (14th), urology (37th), cancer (42nd) and gynecology (49th). In addition, the medical center is ranked as a ‘high performer’ in 8 additional categories: cardiology & heart surgery, diabetes & endocrinology, ear, nose & throat, gastroenterology, geriatrics, neurology & neurosurgery, orthopedics and pulmonology.
